No. Currently Medicare does not cover dentures. In general, Medicare does not cover any routine dental care, including cleanings or check-ups, and never pays for dentures. It may cover the cost of teeth extraction before an inpatient procedure, but will not cover the cost of dentures after the procedure.

Dentures will typically need to be replaced every 5 -20 years depending on the quality of materials. Every denture we sell lasts a MINIMUM 7 YEARS. Patients find that the fit of their dentures changes over the years as their jaw bone shrinks. Because it is normal for your mouth to change and teeth to wear down. Be sure to have your teeth and gums checked during annual dental visit.

Cleaning and daily care of new dentures is important to help maintain good dental health. For everyday cleaning, use a soft brush and anti-bacterial dish soap, like Dawn or Palmolive. You may also choose products sold especially to clean dentures. Be sure to brush both the inside & outside of your denture. You want to remove harmful bacteria. We also suggest soaking your denture in water or a denture-cleaning solution when you take them out at night. Read more about Denture Cleaning.
It is highly recommended to hold your dentures over a sink filled with water when you clean them. If you accidentally drop your denture, it will land softly in the basin of water. You may also want to cushion the sink and counter with a soft cloth or towel.
